DAY 1

RE-CONNECTION

Connecting with other men and initial exploration as to why we are here, acknowledging and celebrating our various experiences in neurodiversity and our hopes and goals for the weekend. Through facilitated conversations on a gentle hike, games and gourmet food, today's focus is on sharing stories, personal and relationship triumphs and challenges. After a sumptuous dinner, we take a look at our different conflict styles through the lens of Gottman Therapy, focusing on the 4 horsemen and their antidotes. Ending the evening with guided meditation and rest.

DAY 2

RE-FOCUS

After an easy and relaxed wake-up, we follow with a sumptuous breakfast. Starting our day with more games, tapping into our fun and competitive sides we explore the importance of connection with other men and what are the ways we can connect in our relationships at home and workplace. Utilising the Gottman Therapy approach, we begin exploring the different parts of our relationship dynamics, focusing on how we show our admiration and fondness, building our emotional bank accounts, and the process of turning towards versus turning away when we are in conflict. Plus ample time for relaxation and more games or rest, at dinner we gather and feast, continuing to deepen our connections. In the evening gathering around a fire (weather permitting) and consideration of what we are prepared to let go of so we can become the best version of ourselves. Ending with either a guided meditation or further private conversations in the comfort of the cottages.

DAY 3

RE-VITALISE

Setting our sights on the future, we spend the morning sharing our commitments, celebrating our fellow men and our group, and firming ongoing group connection and support. The intention is to ensure that all who have attended have a clearer picture of what they want their lives to look like, with concrete commitments to self and their relationships. Then, it's time to bid farewell, until next retreat, with a luxurious lunch celebration.
