Stuart Burling is a compassionate and experienced counsellor, specialising in one-on-one counselling, couples counselling, and workplace workshops aimed at team building. With a deep understanding of human behaviour and relationships, Stuart has dedicated his career to helping individuals and couples navigate through life's challenges and strengthen their connections.
Graduating with high distinction from Notre Dame University of Western Australia, along with being a level 2 Gottman therapist, Stuart embarked on a journey to make a positive impact in the lives of others. His approach to counselling is grounded in empathy, active listening, and evidence-based techniques tailored to each client's unique needs.
Over the past eight years, Stuart has been actively involved in facilitating men's weekend retreats, providing a supportive environment for men to explore their emotions, build authentic connections, and foster personal growth. His commitment to creating safe spaces for self-discovery has earned him the trust and respect of his clients.
Stuart is also a specialist in alcohol and other drugs counselling, offering support and guidance to individuals and couples struggling with substance abuse issues. Through compassionate intervention and practical strategies, he can empower his clients to overcome addiction and reclaim their lives.
In addition to his individual and couples counselling services. Now embarking on creating retreats for couples, women & men this will provide couples with an opportunity to deepen their bond, enhance communication skills, and reignite the spark in their relationships in a serene and rejuvenating setting, along with individuals to explore a deeper understanding of themselves.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Stuart is deeply passionate about promoting mental health and emotional well-being in the community. He actively engages in outreach programs and advocacy initiatives to raise awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues.
His corporate program is a much needed gap for business wanting to create a healthy environment for themselves and their team.
JULES BURLING
Jules embarked on her journey of self-discovery in 2011, initiating a profound transformation that led her to become deeply involved in guiding and creating women's retreats. Over the span of 12 years, she has contributed significantly to these retreats, working within a global organisation, attending training in South Africa, leading and participating in women's circles & workshops.
Jules's background as a designer and stylist has enriched her ability to curate retreat experiences that blend warmth with a personalised touch. Her passion for culinary creation complements this, as she crafts homemade, delicious dishes, enhancing the overall retreat experience.
Her personal life journey has been marked by significant challenges, including navigating miscarriages, divorce, single motherhood, and subsequently becoming a stepmother to four children. Additionally, she has faced the complexities of supporting her husband through addiction, suicide, and the subsequent trials of parental alienation.
Through these experiences, Jules has honed invaluable tools and wisdom, both from her work with women and from her personal growth journey alongside her husband. Today, she offers a welcoming, nurturing environment and shares her wisdom to support others on their paths of healing and transformation.
